Canvas Print Options
Our canvas prints utilize LexJet’s Instant Dry Satin Canvas, which represents the latest in microporous coating technology partnered with an artist canvas designed for the professional. The 19-mil, woven, cotton fabric is ideal for fine art reproductions that will be stretched and mounted. This instant dry coating is water-resistant and crack resistant.
Recommended for indoor use only.
We currently offer 2 canvas print options: Canvas on Matboard and Canvas Gallery Wrap.
Give your prints gallery-level quality with our Canvas on Matboard option, which simply and effectively adds gallery-quality appeal to your print. The canvas provides a rich texture and the matboard a strong backing for framing and display. Mounting your print on matboard not only gives the print extra support, but also helps preserve the value of the print over time.
This product is intended for framing and will warp with time, if not framed. The print and mounting material do not match perfectly in size, but this will not be noticeable once framed.
Canvas Gallery Wrap prints are made by printing your image of choice directly on LexJet’s Instant Dry Satin fine art canvas and wrapping it around a 1.5" stretcher frame. In this wrapping method, the canvas is stretched around the wooden frame and secured in the back where the hardware (staples, tacks, etc.) is hidden. The sides of the canvas are primed the same as the front, allowing the canvas to be presentable without a frame. The image is often extended from the front to the sides, but a solid color can also be used. A gallery wrapped canvas is ready to hang as is.
